The Galatrona presents an intriguing combination of soft-textured, generous fruit wedded to sheer power in a sumptuous, full-bodied style. The tannins are present, but the wine’s sheer density creates an impression of seamless opulence. This immensely rewarding Galatrona should continue to develop beautifully in bottle. Anticipated maturity: 2010-2021.
